Hey there, I’m Pascal – 29 years old, based in Bern and a passionate Formula 1 fan.
Writing has been part of my life for quite a few years now. It all started by chance when I began summarizing the games of our local amateur sports team. I quickly realized how much fun it was, and the positive feedback kept me going.
Fast forward to January 2025: I spent a month traveling through Asia with my girlfriend. Along the way, she asked me to jot down little stories about our trip – to capture the memories and share them with family and friends. That’s when it really hit me: writing is my thing. Once back in Switzerland, it was clear to me that I wanted to keep going with it. And so, the idea of this blog was born.
What’s the topic? No-brainer: Formula 1.
My fascination for the sport started about 20 years ago, right around the time Michael Schumacher clinched his last world title. Sure, I caught some of the action back then, but to be honest, my attention was more on my hot chocolate than on the paddock drama.
The real spark came a few years later – thanks to Felipe Massa. Maybe you know him, maybe you don’t – no worries if the name doesn’t ring a bell. Back in 2008, Massa came painfully close to winning the championship with Ferrari. It was one of those „what if“ moments that stuck with me ever since. (But don’t worry, I’ll save the full heartbreak story for the off-season. 😉)
One more fun fact: as a kid, I had a massive poster of Massa’s Sauber C24 hanging in my room. And did you know the „C“ in every Sauber car is actually a tribute to Peter Sauber’s wife? It’s these little details that make me love motorsport even more.
